Art Journal #9 - Creating a Background Montage
Art journal #9 - Creating a Background Montage
with Steven Bland
Date: Sunday May 07/17
Time: 1:00 to 4:00
In this class, you will learn how to make your own unique Background Montage using rubber stamps, stencils and acrylic paint on wax paper. Bring a variety of rubber stamps (any kind), some stencils and your acrylic paints (you may also want to bring some clear gesso- Carol will have some available in the store). We are going to play around with these to create a unique designer page on wax paper that you can glue down to a double page spread in your art journal as a background. Don’t forget to bring your Art Journal Stash as well!
If you are missing any supplies, please contact the store well advance of the class to order whatever products you might need (and of course Steven will have his “stash” of supplies to share with you if you are missing anything).
**Special Note to Newbies** don’t let the number of the class deter you from signing up. You do not need to have completed any of the previous classes to complete this one. Bring what ever supplies you already have in your stash. Steven will share with you (as well as others- we are a generous groups!) any supplies you are missing and you can always call the store in advance to order missing supplies.
